Host & MC - March for Science DC 2018
I was often called "oddly energetic" as a #science student.
My extroversion (perhaps combined with my ethnicity) prompted past instructors to discourage me from taking a deeper dive into the science field - believing that connecting with crowds and people would take away from my studies.
I believe extroverts are just important to #science as introverts. #Men just as important as #women, and #diversity of thought is always more effective than homogeneity.
I'll be ENTHUSIASTICALLY sharing these sentiments and many more as a Co-Host for this year's #MarchForScience Rally at the National Mall in D.C.!
